Poppy Haws for Ralph

Abi has been fantastic with our basset hound, Ralph. He is a little bit scared of most people, but he warmed up to her pretty quickly which really put us at ease. She came to our house to see Ralph in his own surroundings, which helped a lot before his trial walk.

We were so happy to see him making such good friends with her little pack, especially Brodie 🙂 The texts about the walks Abi would send always let us know he had been well looked after, and the photographs later in the evening would always brighten up the day.

I would happily recommend Abi to anyone in the Newcastle area, she has been amazingly flexible, reliable, and professional. Plus Ralph totally loves her. We were definitely sorry to leave Newcastle and Abi!

Abi has been walking my dog Shea since September. During that time Shea has had to have her hind leg removed because of an old injury. Abi is wonderful. She is reliable, flexible and passionate about dogs. She has been full of really good advice and has helped me with a programme of aftercare for Shea’s amputation, and her visits and walks have been an invaluable part of the rehabilitation, and she always keeps me informed of her progress and the fun she has been having. I know how much Shea loves her walks with Abi and the other dogs because I have seen her reaction when she hears the van pull up!!

I am so glad I found Dog’s Day Walking and Pet Care. I feel confident that Shea is well looked after and in very good hands, as well as having a good time. I can’t recommend the service enough. Thank you.

It was so reassuring to find Abi (who had been recommended). She took the time to visit our home and meet Max and found out his likes and dislikes. She also took time to email us photographs of Max whilst we were away to give us peace of mind that everything was fine, he certainly seemed to enjoy her company in his surroundings. No more worries about cattery’s. We have used Abi’s services twice now and will be using them again. I would certainly recommend her to anyone who needs a pet sitting service. 1st class with great attention to the little things all pets require. Abi has long been my preferred choice of pet sitter when I’m away on holiday. Like most pet owners I worry about my pets when I can’t be with them but Abi always sends me updates (including photos) of my animals to give me peace of mind. I have a particularly uppity house rabbit who has on previous occasions gotten very stressed when I’ve been away resulting in a poorly tummy, but thankfully with Abi’s care and supervision those days are long past – amazingly she even captured some video footage of him binkying around my flat when she has gone in to see him, which is behaviour usually reserved for his favourite people. I also have pet rats (boys and girls) which are no problem for her either, even the more bouncy baby girls!

Last year I was faced with the nightmare of having to leave behind a very poorly and elderly rat while I was out of the country, but thankfully she received round the clock care (including hand feeding), and with regular photo updates I was able to relax and enjoy my (much needed) holiday. Would recommend for all your pet sitting needs!
